About L0rd b00my

L0rd B00my (Houston Howell) is an independent Trip-hop artist/producer from Spring Hill, TN.

B00my started out on Soundcloud under the stage name LB, posting singles and a short mix tape (Elements) for the fun of it all while including his family and friends in on the creative outlet he had discovered. After a year of grasping the basics of music, he posted what he considers to be his debut mixtape, Personal Space: The LB Mixtape, in late 2019. He then changed his name to the one we know today, dropping the abbreviation.

L0rd B00my would solidify this by dropping his first full length album almost immediately after his mixtape under this name change. On January 3, 2020, B00my posted Suspension to Spotify and multiple other streaming services, and this was just the first few of many steps towards his truly trippy hippie wizard adventure.

After a 2 year hiatus, B00my returned with his heavily teased album, 7718. Released on April 16th, 2022, this 26-track album details a psychadelic induced vision and an encounter with a foreign entity that B00my experienced back in April of 2020. The length of the project is impressive just by itself, and it’s clear now why he has been silent for so long. Additionally, he shifted the genre of his music with this release. Before he had been trying to approach his music from the angle of a trap or cloud rapper, but with 7718 he opened up his experimental side. His introduction to trip hop and experimental music showed him that anything can be music for better or for worse and that he shouldn't take his craft so seriously instead opting out for what feels right.

Since the release of the 7718, L0rd B00my has been releasing yearly beat packs. These are released with the intention of giving back to the music community and allowing others to use B00my's music as their own. Along with this, B00my also makes it a point to seek out and commission lesser know graphic designers for the cover art as well (The only exception being BBPV1). So far, four beat packs have been released, and B00my has made it clear that this will be a series that continues far into the future.

After another long pause in his official discography, B00my returned with a collaborative project in early 2025. He teamed up with Kraziax to make Fancy Like, a four-track EP the two conceptualized while working together at Applebee's.

Where will B00my go from here? Is B00my planning another album?? Is he taking another 2 year hiatus?? Is he taking a 20 year hiatus???

I suppose you’ll just have to follow and listen to find out.
Only time will tell…
